Problem Statement

Overview

Tekie launched a new product suite called the CS Suite, wherein Tekie will replace the coding curriculum in the school using a mixture of online teaching (Via online platform) and offline teaching (books).

Initially Tekie’s part-time and full time mentor force was responsible for undertaking online classes for school. Due to ongoing challenges with scheduling and other issues, we decided to enable the school teachers with their own platform to undertake the classes.

Development Process followed:

To enable the schools with our complete package, Tekie decided to build 3 connected applications namely the student app, the teacher app and the admin app to cater to 3 of our primary users within a school

1. Conceptualised the ecosystem for all 3 apps and combines features.
2. Conducted several external interviews to understand the requirements of the market.
3. Interviews several internal mentors to understand the shortcomings and gaps in the current process of scheduling, rescheduling and managing a class.
4. Incorporated the results into an exhaustive user-tab level requirement list (added below)
5. Created lo-fi wireframes, IA structures and flows.
6. Handed over to the design team to create interactive prototypes on hi-fi wireframes.
7. Conducted physical contextual inquiries for users to understand their behaviour with hi-fi wireframes.
8. Incorporated necessary changes to create the final visual design.
9. Handed over the development to tech based on prioritisation.
